CLINICAL ADVISORY BOARD
DR. ARNIE MILSTEIN
Dr. Milstein is a Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and Director of its Clinical Excellence Research Center. Dr. Milstein also co-founded two public benefit initiatives, the Leapfrog Group and the Consumer-Purchaser Disclosure Project. He has served on the faculty of UCSF’s Health Policy Institute and as a Congressional MedPAC Commissioner. Dr. Milstein has been elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, and has received the highest award from the American College of Medical Quality. Dr. Milstein received his undergraduate education at Harvard, his MPH at UC Berkeley, and his M.D. from Tufts University.
DR. MINDY FAIN
Dr. Fain is the Anne & Alden Hart Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine. She is the Division Chief of Geriatrics, General Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Fain served as Medical Director for the Home-based Primary Care (HBPC) Program at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System for over twenty-five years, and as Medical Director of the VA Home Telehealth Implementation Project. She leads the Arizona Geriatric Education Center and the Arizona Reynolds Program in Applied Geriatrics. She is a member of the National Institute on Aging Behavior and Social Science of Aging Panel Review Committee, and incoming President of the American Academy of Home Care Medicine.
JENNIE CHIN HANSEN
Ms. Chin Hansen currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the American Geriatrics Society. In 2005, Ms. Chin Hansen retired as Executive Director of On Lok, a community-based, non-profit family of organizations that eventually served as the prototype for the Program for All-Inclusive Care (PACE), which was a program signed into law in 1997. Ms. Chin Hansen previously completed terms as the President of AARP and as a Congressional MedPac Commissioner. Ms. Chin Hansen is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
DR. BRUCE LEFF
Dr. Leff is a Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He holds a joint appointment in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is the Director of the Center on Aging and Health (COAH) Program in Geriatric Health Services Research and Co-Director of the Elder House Call Program in the Division of Geriatric Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an American Political Science Association Health and Aging Policy Fellow. He has served on multiple technical expert panels for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on issues related to geriatrics and home health care.
